Brighton Beach Memoirs opens Feb. 16

The G.B. Community Theatre production of “Brighton Beach Memoirs” by Neil Simon opens Friday, February 16 at the Ashtabula Arts Center. The warm-hearted comedy centers on Brooklyn teenager Eugene Jerome (Marcus Lowery), who’s dealing with the challenges of family, puberty, and the Great Depression in his crowded Jewish household.

Marcus Lowery is Eugene Jerome, narrator of “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” at the Ashtabula Arts Center.

“Brighton Beach Memoirs” runs February 16-18, 23-25, and March 2-4, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. Advance sale tickets: Adult $15, Senior/Student/Military $13, Child 2-12 $11.
