Women’s Work in AAC gallery

Artists' reception is March 16

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, the Ashtabula Arts Center is displaying an exhibit of art submitted by local and regional women artists. “Women’s Work” will be in the gallery through March 30. There will be an artists’ reception, free and open to the public, on Friday, March 16 from 6-8 p.m. in the gallery. Visitors can see the artwork, meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments.

The Ashtabula Arts Center gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon. The gallery is also open before performances and during intermission. Admission is free. Anyone interested in purchasing artwork from an exhibit should see the Arts Center front desk.

Ohio Arts Council helped fund the arts center with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
